Madame de Pompadour

I have always loved Baroque fashion, so as soon as I saw *NastiaOsipovaStock's stock I had to create something. Everyone always thinks of Marie Antoinette when they think of Baroque, however I have always loved Madame de Pompadour.

Jeanne Antoinette Poisson, Marquise de Pompadour, also known as Madame de Pompadour and otherwise known as Reinette ('little queen') to her friends (29 December 1721 – 15 April 1764) was a member of the French court and was the Maîtresse-en-titre of Louis XV from 1745 to her death.

Madame de Pompadour was highly intelligent, accomplished and extremely beautiful. She even remained on good terms with her lovers' wife, Marie Leszczyńska. The pompadour hairstyle and the pompadour/Louis shoe heel have been accredited to Madame de Pompadour.
